Thrifty Finds: Madison, Wisconsin Half-Price Books Essex Square (October 29, 2009)
Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition ($3.00)-I’ve actually been looking for this game for quite some time and was willing to pay a whole lot more than $3 for it. Quite a coincidence that I found it in the clearance section at Half-Price Books.
100,000 Games ($3.00)-For some reason I thought this collection of games was actually going to be pretty good. I popped one of the discs into my computer and realized that most of the games are absolutely horrible with just a few decent ones in between. It’s still probably worth $3 but I wouldn’t pay any more for it.
Curse of the Pink Panther and The Truth About Cats & Dogs DVDs ($1 each)-I didn’t get nearly as many $1 DVDs at the two Madison Half-Price Books stores this time around but I did get two. I haven’t watched either film but I’m guessing my chances of liking both are pretty high.
